Get Them to Opt In To Your List

The Internet has made it possible to reach out to a wide audience at a relatively low initial expense. It has given access to a variety of people who would likely never have heard of you, so you could sell yourself and your offers to a previously unacknowledged audience.

The Internet has given the individual the power to pass on their message for little or no cost, but it has also given the individual the power to take it away.

Your visitors might be interested in your offer, but they leave because they can’t take, or can’t take right now.

When they leave, they leave behind their email address, their first name, and their country of residence. It’s a bit of a double edged sword, because you would also like to keep the number of people leaving, but at the same time you want to keep the number of people entering.

It has been said that about 95% of the visitors to your website will not opt-in. It might be higher than ninety percent.

They don’t opt-in because they can’t or don’t want to receive your emails, the offer, and all the information they’ve requested in the initial email.

This is the way the Internet works.

They leave, they go to another site, maybe one with more information, maybe they go to another web site with another offer. Maybe they go to another web site, get an ebook from another company, or maybe they look around their site, see something they like, click your link to get to the landing page, or the home page, that gives you the opportunity to send them an offer, give them access to all this information, but they just leave. And you’ve been doing this so much you’ve gotten used to it, but they still leave.

You want the best chances possible for them to open your next email, so keep giving them the chance to get a free sample, give them the chance to get more information, keep sending them offers, keep giving them the opportunity to order, but you also want to try to get them to go back to your web site, to come back from the search engines and give you a search engine link, go back to your landing page or your home page to finish the process with them.

If you are trying to get someone to a web site, perhaps you have an affiliate program, you want them to become profitable with your programs so the more they are doing with your products the more they must be interested in what you have to offer.

Maybe you want them to get their affiliate product approved because they have to send you their receipt. Maybe you have some special promotions or you want them to try something out, maybe you are giving them something free in return for their email opt-in, and you want to give them more incentive to complete the process and finish the process of buying and finishing the process.

Perhaps you are giving them a free gift for opting in, perhaps it is a special report or an eBook, there is a possibility it is a product or a software, you don’t know. But you want to give them the opportunity to find out and finish the process.
